If you haven’t already marked your calendars, below are the dates for our three major fundraising events in 2019. Whether you participate as a donor, sponsor, guest or volunteer, please plan on joining us at these important community building activities:
Do your New Year’s resolutions include ‘getting involved as a lead volunteer at Southridge’? Or perhaps you haven’t volunteered to-date because none of our current opportunities really speak to you? The Volunteer Committee is very excited to be introducing two new possible ‘lead’ volunteer positions, to begin in February 2019:
Welcome back to Southridge for another term of learning and community engagement. I know I speak for all our teachers and staff when I say that we are excited to have our students back with us as we look forward to the next few months filled with all sorts of wonderful opportunities, interesting activities and new adventures.
In order to assess and get to know prospective students applying to the school for the 2019-20 school year, the following dates will be non-instructional days (no school) for the specific grades indicated:
The new BC graduation requirements now include a mandatory Provincial Graduation Numeracy Assessment (GNA) that all students are required to complete before graduation. This has replaced the former Mathematics 10 Provincial Exam.
This afternoon the Storm won their opening round game of the Surrey RCMP Basketball Tournament against LA Matheson.
