Tuition and Fees
*This is the average cost of tuition for domestic students attending Southridge from Kindergarten to Grade 12. We offer three payment plan options, which vary the cost of tuition. Please see the tuition fee schedules (below) for details.
Technology fees are not included in the above tuition and additional fees apply for uniforms, lunches, activities and trips. Some of these additional costs are mandatory.
Tuition Fee Payment Plans
We understand that having options and flexibility with respect to tuition payments is important to a family's financial planning and so, we are pleased to offer three different payment plans. The tuition fee schedules are listed below for the 2017-2018 school year.
The technology fees noted are in addition to the tuition payments.
Payment for tuition fees or monthly student account balances can be made to the school using the following payment methods:Personal Cheque (drawn on a Canadian Bank)
Please make cheques payable to Southridge School and indicate the student number on the memo portion of the cheque.
Bank Draft or Money Order
Southridge accepts bank drafts in Canadian dollars. Please make bank drafts or money orders payable to Southridge School and indicate the student number on the memo portion of the cheque.
Online Banking (Canadian banks only)
Payment may be made by setting up Southridge School as a payee through online banking on your bank website. The student number is used as the account number. If you have more than one child at the school, each child will have to be set up as a payee with a separate account number.
Credit Card Payment
Payment of student accounts by credit card is available for all plans. Under Payment Plan C (Installment), pre-authorization forms are to be filled out and submitted to the school. Charges will be processed on the 5th of the month. Payment by credit card for Payment Plans A (Annual) and B (Standard) requires an administrative charge and is available through the Parent Portal of the school website. Pre-Authorized Payments (Canadian bank accounts only)
To set up regular pre-authorized payments for tuition and technology fees, complete the Pre-Authorized Payment Agreement form and return to the school office along with a void cheque. Payment will be deducted from your account on the 5th of the month. Incidentals charged to the student account will require settlement by another payment method. (Note, this option is only available under Payment Plan C).
We will issue a receipt confirming payment when cash is received.
A 5% discount on tuition is offered to all children from the same family. The discount is applied against tuition as it is billed to your account.
A Domestic student is defined as a student whose parent or guardian is a citizen of Canada or permanent resident and ordinarily resides in British Columbia, or who is lawfully admitted to Canada and is ordinarily resident in British Columbia. If this is not the case, the student will be considered International and international fees will apply.
Tuition fees are due as per the dates indicated on the schedules with overdue interest of 1.5% per month charged on unpaid balances. Monthly statements will be issued to serve as reminders only and to give notice of incidentals billed to the student account. Incidentals are due when billed.
